Turkey November 2010	Gearbox diagnostics and consultancy of steam driven gearbox RENK TBE-630 plus generator Stork Diagnostic Services was invited by a Power generation company in Turkey to investigate high vibrations on a steam turbine driven gearbox. Unexplainable high vibrations occurred since a particular startup. The customer had checked many items but could not find the root cause. Russia November 2010	Inspection and repair of Jahnel-Kestermann propulsion gearbox PGV 1060-450 Stork gears & services was invited on board the container vessel m/v Delta Hamburg to conduct a gearbox inspection after the crew of the vessel noticed abnormal vibrations and found damage to the propulsion gearbox. Taiwan May 2010	On-board gearbox inspection on container vessel sailing from Taiwan to Hong Kong Stork Diagnostic Services carried out a visual inspection of two Renk-Tacke PTG 16 epicyclic gearboxes on board a container vessel sailing from Taiwan to Hong Kong.The crew discovered  excessive clearance at the low-speed shaft of the gearboxes.
