Week 2 - Transport of jetpump gearbox and dredge pump gearbox
In this week we made all the preparations for the removal and transport of the existing dredge pump gearbox from the engine room to the pump room, which also involved removal of star/centre/port air clutch, air control panel and starter air tanks. Hoisting pads were welded for transport of the jet pump gearbox. We supervised the transport of the new dredge and jet pump gearboxes from shore to ship.
