In 1994 Metaalbedrijf Rademakers NV - the original manufacturer of Rademakers gearboxes - has been taken over by Stork Gears & Services. The advantages for our customers worldwide are obvious. Because we have obtained the complete drawing packages we are able to supply all the spare parts of Rademakers gear units in accordance with the original measurements and types of material. Our extensive Rademakers knowhow and hands-on experience enables us to offer our customers excellent service and the fastest repair times for the most demanding applications, for example high and lowpressure turbines and high power generators.

Double helical epicyclic gearing for high power and high speed applications

Rademakers gearboxes are worldwide well known and appreciated for the Stoeckicht system, applied in epicyclic gearboxes. Metaalbedrijf Rademakers NV had been manufacturing gears of the Stoeckicht epicyclics type since 1956 for the transmitting of high power. This system is characterised by the fact that the sun gear is not supported by bearings and is coupled to the high speed shaft by a dual gear coupling. The annuli are self-aligning and together with the sun gear free to adjust themselves in relation to the planet gears. This combination ensures equal load sharing over the planet gears.

Compact lightweight design and small overall size due to uniform loadsharing between planet gears and concentric arrangement of gears
