New profile grinding machine for high performance
Stork Gears & Services recently invested in a high performance profile grinding machine for increasing accuracy and quality control: the Gleason Pfauter P600/800 G. It is expected that the profile grinding machine will be commissioned in April 2008.
The Gleason Pfauter P 600/800 G is particularly suitable for our wind industry customers as it conforms to their standards and quality requirements.
This gear grinding machine has been designed to grind straight and helical external and internal gearings on cylindrical workpieces with a diameter of up to 800mm.
Siemens CNC software is used to satisfy the most exacting demands and provides any gear tooth modifications.
Advantages of the Gleason Pfauter P600/800 G- Time saving
One of the great advantages of this new profile grinding machine is that the machine is able to grind without the necessity of pre-hobbing (till Modulus 10). This results in a significant time saving, so we can serve our customers even faster.
- Maximum precision
Direct measuring systems are integrated into the highly accurate anti-friction guides of the linear axes in combination with the absolute measuring systems of the linear axes. Movement is recorded exactly and any friction is avoided. - High precision
A high-precision worktable is used in combination with a fully hydrostatic table bearing. This ensures consistent generation of highly accurate tooth form and modifications. - Consistent quality results
An internal cooling system results in a constant temperature level for consistent quality results.
