Propulsion gearbox for cattle transporter

This cattle transporter was experiencing very severe oil leakage (in excess of 200 litre a day) with the propulsion gearbox (Renk ASL 2x100, input power, 2x2120 kW @ 750 rpm, output speed = 201.9 rpm) and decided to open up the gearbox for inspection. Upon inspection, the owner discovered that the one of the pinion gear has fractured and that the bull gear was also badly damaged with the wear baised to one side (suggesting that the bearing housing and/or bearing may be damaged). After some deliberation, the owner decided to rework the bearing housing and replace the complete gear internals (1 x bull gear and 2 x pinion gears).
