New industrial robot arm ROMAT® 320 for high availability

Stork Gears & Services' Lasercladding Department has recently invested in an industrial Robot arm, the ROMAT® 320. The Lasercladding Department has a strong focus on innovative technology and research in close cooperation with research institutes (Fraunhofer ILT, TNO, NIMR) and universities. Laser cladding can be used for the protection against wear and corrosion of new components. It can also be used for the repair of damaged components in which minimum distortion and maximum high precision is demanded. The use of this six axes robot arm is vital for optimum accessibility of large components in difficult applications. This means we are able to rapidly repair bearing tolerances of gearbox housings. ROMAT® robot arms are designed as rotating joints by CLOOS. The ROMAT® 320 robotarm has a compact, robust design and consists of 6 axes.
