Stork successfully represented at HUSUMwind 2008

As part of our international strategy, Stork Gears & Services was again successfully represented at the HUSUMwind trade fair, world’s largest wind industry trade fair with over 700 exhibitors from 35 countries. For the eleventh year, HUSUMWIND has seen a significant rise in visitor numbers. Around 23.000 people from around 40 countries came to find out about the latest technologies on wind energy. Especially the visitors from the United States were represented well. According to Gijs van Wezel - account manager with Stork Gears & Services -  the fair was a great success. "Just like last year, we had a high visitors rate at our boot. In the market we have a good name for our highly skilled engineers and extensive knowledge of specific wind turbine problems. Customers were particularly interested in our future service to run a loaded test run for the turbine gearboxes. Up until now this was not done”. By cooperating closely with the original equipment manufacturers,  Stork Gears & Services is able to maintain and expand its already extended knowledge database. Read more about our wind services »
