Therefore, an inspection before end of warranty is of great importance. With our complete, portable workstation -Everest XLG3 videoscope- we are able to carry out fast and accurate onsite windturbine inspections and the neccessary repairs. We are your independent partner for high quality End of Warranty inspections, including detailed reports, recommendations and analysis. To pinpoint equipment failure we perform oil analysis, vibration measurements and thorough visual inspections. Repair and modification of gearbox componentsThe repair and modification of wind turbines is a complex task because of the weight and height. As an independent service company our customers can rely on our extensive windturbine knowhow, detailed analysis and technical reports. We carried out an increasing number of gearbox overhaul projects. With our newest grinding machine – The Gleason Pfauter P 600/800 G we are able to manufacture high quality gears within the fastest possible time, which planetery gearboxes in wind turbines will strongly benefit from. Preventive maintenance Preventive maintenance helps to avoid future unplanned breakdowns and potentially costly repairs. Vibration analysis is an effective technique for monitoring the condition of the gears and bearings and determing the root cause of machine failure. With our CSI portable spectrum analyser and Bentley Nevada multi-channel real-time analysers we are able to carry out on-site vibration measurements detecting various sorts of gearbox problems:
Wear protectionWindturbine gearboxes are subjected to high loads and suffer from high rates of wear under such demanding usage. We often make use of our inhouse Laserclad facilities to modify vital parts (e.g. the spline coupling) of the turbines. Laser cladding is a highly flexible repair technique and a promising technology to restore damaged parts instead of replacement. Oil flushingWe also have the knowledge and equipment to perform oil flushing of windturbine gear components. Clean oil is of great importance for reliable wind turbine performance. Windturbines often suffer from shutdowns due to contamination of the bearings. With our flushing equipment we are able to clean the oil according to the customer's requirements. |
