Stork’s culture of thinking and doing led a global Oil & Gas company to contact us when the control unit of their steam turbine was malfunctioning. The original manufacturer couldn’t determine the nature of the problem, but our engineers immediately determined the cause and repaired the steam turbine within 48 hours. The result: Reliable, safe production.

In another example, a gas turbine rotor at a major company’s power station was destroyed by a bolt that had vibrated loose. The OEM determined it would take nine months before all new, spare parts would be available via the usual channels. With the continuity of their energy and power supply at stake, the company called Stork (on Christmas Day). Stork reacted immediately by placing 18 specialists on site and working in shifts to complete the repair. The result: The turbine was operational five months earlier than anticipated.
